Special ProgramsCPA ExaminationCandidates for the CPA Examination must complete 150 hours of college credit in order to sit for the exam. Many Dominican accounting majors will meet this requirement by enrolling in Dominican's combined BA/MBA program (see below). Becker Conviser CPA review offers a four-month course at Dominican University twice a year. Five-Year BA/MBAQualified students may begin master's degree work in the School of Business while still in the undergraduate program at Dominican University , reducing the time required to complete an MBA degree. After completing required foundation courses as undergraduates, students who are accepted into the BA/MBA program may take one graduate core course each semester of their senior year and complete the MBA the following year. Honors SocietyAcademically talented students majoring in business administration, accounting and environmental management may be invited to join Dominican University 's chapter of Sigma Iota Epsilon, the honorary and professional management society. Sigma Iota Epsilon has a twofold purpose: to encourage and recognize scholastic excellence and to promote cooperation between the academic and practical aspects of management.
