The addiction counseling major is a cooperative program between the psychology department of Dominican University and the basic addiction counseling program at Triton College, whose program is accredited by the Illinois Alchohol and Other Drug Abuse Professional Certification Association. This program is designed to prepare students for certification as an Alchohol and Drug Abuse Counselor (CADC).
