FacultyDominican’s student-to-faculty ratio of 12 to 1 assures individualized attention. Small class size allows for lively discussion and enables students to have close contact with their professors inside and outside the class. Faculty members have doctoral degrees from University of Chicago, Oxford University (England), the University of St. Mary of the Lake, Service International College (Rome) and Loyola University Chicago. Full-time faculty set a high standard for both academic excellence and ministerial competence. Students also learn from prominent Chicago-area teachers, ministers and writers, who serve the pastoral ministry program on an adjunct basis. Faculty members complement their teaching with an ongoing commitment to scholarship in several areas of theology and pastoral ministry. They are committed to interdisciplinary study and teach regularly in the Rosary College of Arts and Sciences’ interdisciplinary core seminars program. |
