FacultyDominican’s student-to-faculty ratio of 12 to 1 assures individualized attention. Small class size allows for lively classroom discussion and enables students to have close contact with their professors inside and outside of class. With doctoral degrees from University of Chicago, Oxford University in England, the University of St. Mary of the Lake, Servite International College in Rome, and Loyola University, full-time faculty set a high standard for both academic excellence and ministerial competence. Faculty members complement their teaching with an ongoing commitment to scholarship. This includes research and active engagement in suchdiverse areas as religion and psychology, Celtic spiritually, interreligious dialogue, marriage and family, and the theological implications of international relations and law. They are also committed to interdisciplinary study and teach regularly in Rosary College of Arts and Sciences’ interdisciplinary core seminars program. |
