Fashion Show

Each spring, students in the design and merchandising programs plan and present a fashion show that is open to the public.  Students in the design major exhibit their original designs and merchandising majors organize and stage the production.

Opportunities

Why is apparel the field with 1,000 career titles?

Apparel career positions are available in all aspects of the industry, from development and manufacturing of specific fashion items to promotion, publicity and sales at both the wholesale and retail levels.  Some graduates of Dominican’s apparel program have successfully started their own businesses.

Careers in the apparel design field include:
