Dominican’s student-to-faculty ratio of 12 to 1 assures individualized instruction. Close interaction with a lively faculty, who are active researchers and consultants and are interested in current developments in their fields, helps Dominican students develop individual interests while acquiring a broad knowledge of their major.

At Dominican, professors teach their own classes—no video lectures or teaching assistants. Faculty members have chosen to teach at Dominican because of the university’s commitment to teaching. Professors in the computer science majors hold advanced degrees from such prestigious institutions as Illinois Institute of Technology, Washington State University, Loyola University and the University of Cincinnati.
