Computer Science Club

The Computer Science Club provides a forum and outlet for students interested in computer technology. In this context, the club conducts field trips to visit computer sites and invites experts to speak on computer-related topics. Members are encouraged to join the Association for Computing Machinery (ACM), one of the most prestigious organizations in the computer science field. Members are also encouraged to participate in the activities of the Associated Colleges of the Chicago Area (ACCA). ACCA events expose students to what their peers from other area colleges are doing in computer science. ACCA also sponsors an annual computer programming contest. Dominican students have won trophies at this contest for the last three years.
