Introduction
to Design Applications introduces students to the use
of the computer as a graphic design tool in a project-oriented
class. Applied problems in image creation and page layout
are explored using software programs appropriate to the professional
design environment (Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign.)

This course
is taught in the Digital Media Center (Lewis Hall 416.) The
classroom is equipped with a color-calibrated high end color
laser printer, flatbed and film scanners and Macintosh computers.
No previous knowledge of graphic design or use of Macintosh
computers is necessary. |
