Chemical Information Links:
Chemfinder - A quick and easy way to look up useful information on chemical compounds by name. You may have to register for the service at some point if you are a consistent user. Its free.
Aldrich Catalog online - useful information on a wide variety of commercial compounds. They also have safety information if you can understand their numbering/coding system. You may have to register if you want access to some information such as MSDS forms.
Hazardous
Chemical Database from
International Chemical Safety Cards: Abbreviated versions of MSDS (Material Safety Data Sheets)
Safety CLIPs (Chemistry Laboratory Information Profiles) from the ACS (American Chemical Society). Unfortunately, just a few chemicals are profiled to this date.
Organic Chemistry Database - Searching compounds if you know the melting/boiling point, molecular formula and/or molecular weight.
