A flood of recent literature and research has linked gaming to the development of skills such as problem solving, information seeking behavior and learning how to be a team player, just to name a few.

In an attempt to attract younger patrons and gamers of all ages, many libraries and have opened their doors to gamers by providing the use of their spaces and the games themselves.
